In addition to substance abuse, it is not unusual for our clients to struggle with a co-occurring mental health disorder (dual diagnosis) such as depression, anxiety, or post-traumatic stress. Although the mental health disorder may develop first, in other instances, the substance abuse may be the trigger for the mental health disorder. Regardless of which condition occurred first, an individual with a dual diagnosis will need to receive treatment for both. Our staff will work to identify those issues and will include them in our client’s treatment plan. A list of co-occurring conditions that we treat appears below.
Attention Deficit – Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD)
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
